# Start a RevMotion run

> Predicts, from a protein's amino-acid sequence alone, which parts of it are flexible: for each residue, the probability that it takes part in slow motion, where the protein switches between shapes over microseconds to milliseconds (the kind of motion NMR experiments detect). Useful for finding hinges and mobile loops. Uses Dyna-1 on ESM-2, one protein per run; progress jumps from 0 to 100.

Starts a run and returns it with status `queued`; poll GET /v1/runs/{runId} until it finishes. Runs spend credits.

**Limits:** `maxResidues`: 1000, `trainedUpToResidues`: 367.

**Scope:** `runs:write`.
