# Connect ChatGPT

> Add Revilico to ChatGPT as a custom MCP server with OAuth sign-in, check it works in a conversation, and troubleshoot common connection problems.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Custom MCP servers are available on ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu. Your workspace admin may need to allow them first.

1. In [ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com) on the web, open **Plugins**, click **+**, then **Add custom MCP server**.
2. Name it `Revilico`, enter this URL and choose **OAuth** for authentication:

   ```text theme={null}
   https://mcp.revilico.bio/mcp
   ```
3. Create it and install it, then sign in to Revilico and click **Allow**.

Then ask something like "Which Revilico engines can I use?". If ChatGPT doesn't use Revilico, check it is selected for the conversation.

> [!TIP]
>
> ChatGPT renames its menus from time to time. If the steps don't match what you see, look for the place to add a custom connector or MCP server; the URL and the OAuth sign-in stay the same.

## Troubleshooting

| Problem | What to do |
| - | - |
| You can't find where to add an MCP server | Your plan or workspace may not allow custom MCP servers. Ask your workspace admin. |
| The sign-in page says the app can't connect | Delete the server in ChatGPT and add it again with the exact URL above. |
| Calls fail with `API_ACCESS_NOT_ENABLED` | API and MCP access isn't enabled for your organization. [Contact us](https://calendly.com/christopher-korban/support-meeting). |
| Some tools are missing | You unticked their permissions when you allowed the app. Disconnect it under **Developer → Connected apps** and connect again. |
